Is it permissible to make a false excuse to avoid helping a female relative cheat on an exam, while wishing not to lose her?

Cheating in exams is not permissible, nor is assisting in it. Rather, one must advise those who seek to do so and remind them of its prohibition, based on the Prophet's saying: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." What is unlawful is not permissible to do. If it is not possible to explicitly declare abstinence from this act, one can use allusion and equivocation without lying.
