Is it permissible for my parents to be angry with me for not completing my studies, and is it obligatory for me to marry the young man who led me to fornication, despite my repentance and lack of trust in him?

Adultery is a grave sin, and its recompense is severe in this world and the hereafter. Allah has forbidden it, describing it as an abomination and an evil way, and has promised its perpetrator a doubled torment on the Day of Resurrection, except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds. Adultery encompasses all evil traits, such as lack of faith, loss of piety, and corruption of chivalry. It is a betrayal of trust and a loss of honor. The adulterer must offer sincere repentance and return to Allah Almighty, multiply acts of righteousness towards the parent, and beware of marrying the adulterer who deceived her. There is no harm for her in marrying whomever she chooses if her repentance is sincere and the suitor is a man of faith and character.
