Is watching dubbed TV series more forbidden, and does it invalidate prayer for 40 days?

There is no difference in ruling between Arabic TV series and dubbed ones in terms of their inclusion of transgressions and objectionable matters; rather, they compete in corrupting Muslims. Watching these series is a waste of time, and if they include objectionable matters such as immodest display (tabarruj), music, corrupt ideas, and indecent scenes, then watching them is prohibited due to their danger to faith and morals. Allowing family members and children to watch them is considered a betrayal of one's guardianship and leads to dire consequences. As for the claim that watching them invalidates prayers for forty days, this is a fabrication against Allah's law. Parents must protect themselves and their children from these TV series and resort to permissible alternatives that broadcast good and spread virtue.
