Is the Friday Prayer in Russia Fard or Wajib?

Friday prayer in Russia is an individual obligation upon men. If the conditions for its obligation are met and there is no legitimate excuse permitting absence, then absence is considered a grave sin and a major transgression. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, people should cease neglecting the Friday prayers, or Allah will seal their hearts, and then they will be among the heedless."
