What is the authenticity of the narration that states Allah brought the Prophet's parents back to life, and they embraced Islam, and what is our duty towards those who promote it?
The aforementioned hadith is weak, and it is not permissible to rely upon it. It is advisable not to delve into the issue of the fate of the Prophet's parents, peace and blessings be upon him, because it is a thorny issue and no action is built upon it. Scholars have differed on it, among them Al-Shanqeeti, who mentioned in his tafsir, "Adwa' al-Bayan," regarding the verse: "And We would not punish until We had sent a messenger," that Allah does not punish anyone until He sends a messenger to them. While others cited verses indicating that everyone who dies as a disbeliever is in the Fire, Al-Shanqeeti clarified that the correct view is that the Ahl al-Fatra (people of the interval) are excused in this world and will be tested on the Day of Judgment, so whoever plunges into the Fire will enter Paradise.
