What is the ruling on injustice and what is the fate of the unjust in this world and the hereafter?

Oppression is the transgression from truth to falsehood. It is divided into major (disbelief/kufr) and minor (sins less than disbelief). Its consequences are dire in the Afterlife, leading to Hellfire and torment. In this world, Allah hastens punishment for the oppressors. Some worldly punishments, such as the prescribed legal penalties (hudud), expiate the sins of the oppressors.
