How is the debt of a worker who relinquished his daily wage for two years, then claimed it with its growth after 20 years, assessed?

The worker's failure to collect his wage is not considered a waiver of it, and his right to claim it remains, no matter how long the time passes, unlike his explicit declaration of waiver.

As for claiming the growth of the money, there is no basis for it, as the worker's right is only his wage, even if the employer invested it, because it is guaranteed by him, unless the employer voluntarily gives the growth.

This is supported by the hadith of the three men in the cave, where one of them invested his worker's wage until it became cows and their shepherd, and then gave it to the worker.

Al-Bukhari commented on this story by saying: "Chapter: If someone cultivates land belonging to others without their permission, and there is benefit for them in that." Whereas Ibn Battal and Ibn Hajar clarified that the wage is not designated until it is received, and the owner's disposal of the money is valid, and his giving the growth to the worker is considered a voluntary act.
