What is the supplication to expel insects from the house?

To protect the home from pests, one must first take worldly measures such as using pesticides and sealing entrances. In addition, the Sunnah of the Prophet brought forth supplications, including: 1. Saying: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created" upon entering a dwelling. 2. Seeking protection for children with: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every harmful pest, and from every evil eye." 3. When night falls during travel, saying: "O earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, and the evil of what is in you, and the evil of what has been created in you, and from the evil of what creeps upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from lions and black snakes, and from snakes and scorpions, and from the dweller of the land, and from a father and what he has begotten."

These invocations protect from the harm of pests, but they do not necessarily entail expelling them, as they may remain present without causing harm.
