Are there any Quranic verses that protect the home from insects entering?
There is no specific religious text that designates certain verses for expelling insects. However, one can recite Ayat al-Kursi, the Mu'awwidhatayn (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas), Al-Fatiha, and other established Ruqyah (lawful incantations), as they have, by the grace of Allah, an effect in repelling the evil eye and afflictions. It is narrated in the Sunnah that reciting Al-Fatiha is a Ruqyah, and that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn with the words: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and harmful creature, and from every evil eye." When the Mu'awwidhatayn were revealed, he adopted them and abandoned others. Ibn Al-Qayyim mentioned that frequently reciting the Mu'awwidhatayn, Al-Fatiha, and Ayat al-Kursi are among the most powerful incantations and Ruqyahs. Whoever recites the Quran should ask Allah for their needs through it.
