Is there an expiation for someone who delayed making up for the days they missed in Ramadan for three or four years? And what is due from someone who bought merchandise for $100 using a "fake or stolen visa [card]"?

If one breaks their fast in Ramadan (definition) due to a legitimate Shar'i excuse, there is no sin. However, if it is without an excuse, then they have committed a grave sin that necessitates repentance. Delaying the making up of Ramadan fasts without a valid excuse until the next Ramadan begins necessitates both making up the fasts (qada') and expiation (kaffara) according to the majority of scholars, as stated by Ibn Hajar al-Haytami. As for purchasing with a stolen card, it is a grave sin and a major transgression. The thief must repent by feeling remorse, resolving never to repeat it, and giving the stolen amount in charity if it is impossible to return it to its rightful owner.
