Is it permissible for pilots assigned to difficult security patrols to break their fast during the day in Ramadan?

Firstly: If the pilot covers the distance for Qasr (approximately 80 km) for border patrols, he is permitted to break his fast after leaving inhabited areas. Breaking the fast before takeoff is also permissible due to necessity.

Secondly: If a person is within the distance for Qasr, but cannot perform the patrol mission to protect the nation except by breaking his fast, then breaking the fast is permissible for him in realization of this benefit.

Thirdly: Whoever returns to his place of residence during the day and does not continue the mission, must abstain from eating and drinking for the remainder of the day.

Fourthly: All of them must make up the fast later.
