What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the military leadership's order to break the fast for 25 days in Ramadan for the purpose of preparing for a dangerous mission?

A resident is not permitted to break their fast except with a valid excuse. Among the excuses that permit breaking the fast is the belief or certainty of confronting an enemy, as a means of preparation and strengthening for the encounter. Jurists have mandated breaking the fast for anyone who fears destruction for themselves or others. If fasting would weaken Muslims in the face of their enemies, then there is no doubt about the legitimacy of breaking the fast, whether traveling or at home. However, if the encounter with the enemy is certain, then breaking the fast becomes an obligation. Therefore, if breaking the fast is for the purpose of strengthening oneself to undertake the task of defending Muslims or fearing an enemy attack, then there is no objection, with the obligation to make up the fast later.
