The answer

Hajj is obligatory immediately upon the one who is able, and this is the view of the majority of scholars. This is indicated by the words of Allah Almighty: "And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way" and His saying: "And complete the Hajj and 'Umrah for Allah." The command is for immediacy. The son being in high school is not considered an excuse for postponing Hajj, given the availability of the ability. The son at this age is not a child who needs care, and he can review his lessons by himself or with his peers. Therefore, it is not permissible to delay Hajj.
