Is the Basmalah permissible when reciting Surat At-Tawbah from the middle or the end?

The reciters have unanimously agreed to omit the Basmalah when beginning with Surah At-Tawbah or when connecting it with Surah Al-Anfal. However, when beginning with verses from the middle of Surah At-Tawbah, the reciters of performance have differed on this matter; some of them held the view of choice (takhyeer), while others prohibited it. Ibn al-Jazari elaborated on these opinions in "An-Nashr," indicating that As-Sakhawi permitted the Basmalah in its middle, whereas Al-Ja'bari prohibited it. Ibn al-Jazari clarified that whoever does not recite the Basmalah in the middle of other surahs should also not recite it in the middle of At-Tawbah, and similarly, whoever believes that the Basmalah in the middle of a surah follows its beginning. As for whoever recites the Basmalah in parts of surahs absolutely, if he considers the reason for omitting the Basmalah from its beginning (that it was revealed with the sword), he would not recite the Basmalah; otherwise, he would.
