How can a singing talent be employed in Islamic chanting, after abandoning forbidden singing and avoiding a return to misguidance?

The questioner must complete his repentance by shunning forbidden music gatherings and friends who encourage him to attend them. Allah has commanded His servants to repent and encouraged them to do so. Sincere repentance necessitates abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. It is also advised to utilize one's talent in learning the Qur’an and Fiqh, calling people to Allah, and keeping company with the righteous.
