Is it permissible to sing in order to pay off debts, knowing that it is forbidden?

Working in the field of singing and music is forbidden (haram), and the earnings derived from it are ill-gotten (khabith). It is obligatory to seek lawful (halal) work. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect." A servant will never abandon something for the sake of Allah out of piety except that Allah will grant him something better than it.
