Should a man who repented to Allah after his marriage pay a forbidden wage to singers with whom he had an agreement before his repentance?

If singing involves a musical instrument or obscene lyrics, then it is forbidden, and it is unlawful to perform it, listen to it, or exchange it for compensation. It is not permissible to pay money to someone who engages in it; rather, this money must be disposed of by spending it on general Muslim welfare, similar to the money from alcohol sales and the dowry of a prostitute.
