What is the legitimate Islamic ruling regarding my work at a manufacturing and sales company, where I open a personal account as a customer to receive a 40% discount, then sell to consumers at a lower discount to benefit from the difference as profit, and ultimately receive products equivalent to this profit to use for myself or sell outside the company?

The employee is a private hire, and his working hours belong to the employer. Therefore, he is not permitted to undertake another personal task during working hours unless authorized by the employer. The aforementioned agreement to sell goods on behalf of the employee during his work is impermissible, unless the sales manager is authorized by the company to do so. What makes the matter worse is that the agreement itself is invalid, as it falls under the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of "two transactions in one," which is interpreted as one party stipulating another contract (such as a loan, sale, or lease) to the other, thus invalidating the sale.
