Is it permissible to work in the field of purposeful cinema that seeks to change the mindset of the nation and guide people, taking into account the importance of media as a powerful tool, and what are the proofs for that?

Striving to guide creation is a religiously commanded duty, and the best way to achieve this is by inviting people to Allah through the Quran and Sunnah, clarifying the truth to them, encouraging them to perform good deeds and embrace virtuous morals through incitement to good, and persuading them to the path of righteousness through dialogue and disputing in the best manner.

Allah Almighty says: ﴿Say, "I only warn you by revelation."﴾ [Al-Anbiya: 45], and He says: ﴿And this Quran was revealed to me that I might warn you thereby.﴾ [Al-An'am: 19], and He says: ﴿Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best.﴾ [An-Nahl: 125].

It is permissible to use any other means that do not involve forbidden elements, such as media and theatrical means free from prohibitions. As for what includes forbidden elements, it is religiously prohibited, because the end does not justify the means, and because a servant may be deprived of provision due to a sin he commits.

If acting is intended to be used, a method free from the mixing of women, the appearance of scantily clad individuals, music, and other prohibitions must be devised.
