What is the ruling on a man wearing silk in quantities that do not incite the fitna for which it was prohibited?

The Sharia texts indicate the permissibility for men to wear a small amount of silk interwoven with other materials, such as in the sleeve or pocket, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "He forbade silk except for that which is cut [into pieces]," and his saying: "Except for the space of two, three, or four fingers." It is stipulated that the quantity of silk should not exceed that which is woven with it. If silk dominates the garment, it is forbidden. If the amounts are equal, the majority of scholars prohibit it, giving precedence to the side of prohibition.
