It is impermissible to create figures and sculptures of living beings, due to the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Give life to what you have created.'" And his saying: "Indeed, the people who will receive the severest punishment from Allah on the Day of Resurrection are the image-makers."

If someone possesses valuable sculptures, they should not destroy them but rather melt them down and benefit from the material. The form of forbidden images can be altered by cutting off the head or the limbs, so they become like a tree or are used as cushions, as mentioned in the hadith of Jibreel (peace be upon him) with the Prophet (peace be upon him).
