Can recurrent marital problems and relationships with other women after recovery from a previous spell of sorcery and marriage be due to an act of separation magic or are they a punishment from Allah?
A Muslim must thank Allah for His blessings by restraining oneself from what Allah has forbidden and by lowering one's gaze. Forbidden relationships lead to the loss of faith, and sins cause worries and a constricted life, as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a constricted life." As for obedience, it is a cause of ease and abundance, as Allah Almighty says: "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely grant him a good life." Sins bring harm from human devils and affect the behavior of one's wife and family, as some of the Salaf said: "Indeed, I disobey Allah, and I recognize that in the disposition of my wife and my riding beast." One should hasten to repent before it is too late, and returning to Allah transforms one's state from constriction to abundance.
