What is the ruling on being preoccupied from religious reading after marriage while maintaining prayer on time? Is this considered among the distractions of life? And how can children be raised without anger?
Serving the husband and caring for the children are righteous deeds and a great duty for which a woman is rewarded. This does not contradict the obligatory pursuit of knowledge; rather, time should be specifically allocated for it. To reconcile both matters, one can listen to lessons and lectures while performing household chores. To overcome nervousness and impulsiveness, one must strive against the self, cultivate forbearance, and seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan when angry. One must be gentle with children and deal with their mistakes calmly, remembering that "gentleness is not in anything but it adorns it, and it is not removed from anything but it disgraces it."
