Do animals enter Paradise or Hell, and how can one atone for treating animals cruelly?

First: Animals will be gathered on the Day of Judgment so that justice may be served among them, even the hornless sheep will be avenged upon the horned sheep. Then Allah will command them to become dust.

Second: A Muslim must be kind to animals and not torture them. A woman entered Hellfire because she imprisoned a cat, and Allah forgave a prostitute because she gave water to a dog. Whoever harms an animal must repent to Allah.
