How is it possible to understand the verse: (He Who created the seven heavens in layers, you do not see any inconsistency in the creation of the Most Merciful. So return your gaze, do you see any cracks?) Al-Mulk/3, and how can one respond to those who question the existence of birth defects and human deformities despite the verse denying any inconsistency in the creation of the Most Merciful?

Allah Almighty has perfected everything He created, and His saying, "You do not see any inconsistency in the creation of the Most Merciful" (Surah Al-Mulk/3), either refers only to the creation of the heavens, or it is general, encompassing all of Allah's creation, including plants, animals, and humans. His creation is perfect in its essence, and any imperfections found in some of His creations do not constitute a flaw in the original design; rather, it is because they did not accept perfection and completeness, which is a matter of non-existence. Allah Almighty has profound wisdom in creating imperfections, afflictions, and diseases, including: punishment for sins, demonstrating Allah's power over creation, reminding people of His blessings upon them, and opening a great door for those afflicted to attain Allah's pleasure, lighten their sins, and elevate their ranks.
