Is the authenticity of what was mentioned regarding the virtue of the prostration of thankfulness (sujud al-shukr) true, that Allah Almighty removes the veil between the servant and the angels and thanks the servant for it?

The prostration of thankfulness (sujud ash-shukr) is not prescribed after every prayer. Rather, it is [prescribed] upon the renewal of an apparent blessing or the repulsion of an apparent affliction. Considering it an innovation is valid, as there is no evidence for rewards being attached to it after every prayer.
