Is he sinful who enrolls his children in a kindergarten in Kuwait where there is music and dancing for children?

A Muslim sins if he enrolls his children in a kindergarten that includes dancing and music, because both are forbidden (haram). A call is directed to those in charge of these kindergartens to fear Allah concerning Muslim children and not to accustom them to what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden. Musical instruments (ma'azif) are forbidden, as stated in Sahih Al-Bukhari on the authority of Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There will be people from my Ummah who will consider unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, alcoholic drinks, and musical instruments as lawful." Musical instruments are instruments of amusement. Those in charge of these kindergartens must prohibit musical instruments and dancing and raise the youth according to sound Islamic upbringing. Parents are advised not to enroll their children in these kindergartens, and if they are compelled to do so, they should establish their own private kindergartens that adhere to virtuous Islamic manners and ethics.
