What is the view of Islam regarding parents who allow their children to commit some forbidden acts, such as listening to music, thinking that this protects them from falling into more severe forbidden acts, or fearing that their children will run away if Allah's law is applied at home?

The success of raising children is influenced by the environment, and parents must fulfill the trust of nurturing and caring for them, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against deceiving those under one's care. Children must be taught acts of obedience from a young age, such as prayer and fasting, and prevented from forbidden things, such as males wearing gold, or lying and stealing; because even if the child is not accountable, their guardian is accountable for preventing them from forbidden acts so that they do not become accustomed to them. Neglecting to teach children what benefits them leads to their corruption, and raising them according to the manners of Islam is not strictness, but a right.
