Are sports and national anthems forbidden?
Singing accompanied by music is forbidden, regardless of its type. As for singing without music, it is forbidden if it is heard by a man from a non-mahram woman, or if it incites racism, nationalistic slogans, or جاهلية (pre-Islamic ignorance) sentiments. What is free from that, and from inviting to or inciting disobedience, is permissible.
