Is it permissible for a group of workers residing in France to perform Friday prayer in one of the rooms of the workshop where they work, knowing that they are far from the mosque and their employer does not allow them to leave work to perform the prayer in the mosque?

It is permissible to perform the Friday prayer in the aforementioned room if you are prevented from performing it in the جامع مسجد (central mosque), or if the mosque is far away and difficult to reach, because Allah the Almighty says: ﴿Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 286], and ﴿So fear Allah as much as you are able﴾ [At-Taghabun: 16]. The preponderant opinion is that the Friday prayer is valid if performed in any place and with any congregation.
