What are the etiquettes of engagement and the limits of interaction between the suitor and his fiancée, and is it permissible for a man to use the rufl with someone other than his wife?

The boundaries between a suitor and his fiancée are the same as those between a man and an unrelated woman, except for what Allah has permitted, such as looking at what encourages one to marry her. The suitor is a stranger to his fiancée until he marries her. He is only permitted to speak to her in a befitting manner when necessary, and by the consensus of Muslims, it is forbidden for him to touch or kiss her.
