Do the death of a mother from pancreatic cancer on the eve of Friday, the attendance of a large congregation for her prayer and burial, her utterance of the Two Testimonies (Shahadatayn), in addition to the emanation of a pleasant scent from her after her death, constitute signs of a good ending for her? And is pancreatic cancer considered one of the diseases of the abdomen for which its sufferer is hoped to receive the reward of a martyr?

Dying on Friday night or during the day, and uttering the Shahada (testimony of faith) at the time of death, are signs of a good ending. This is based on the Hadith: "No Muslim dies on Friday or Friday night except that Allah protects him from the trial of the grave." And saying "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah) before death is a cause for entering Paradise. It is hoped that whoever dies due to pancreatic cancer is considered a martyr, based on the general statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The martyrs are five: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a stomach disease, the drowned, the one who dies under a falling building, and the martyr in the cause of Allah." And "the one who dies of a stomach disease" refers to anyone who dies from an illness in their abdomen, generally.
