How does God respond to the plea of one who has lost her phone, her connections, her academic standing, things she used to excel at, and the person she loves, and she feels deep pain and annihilation, believing that God is angry with her and punishing her with these successive calamities?

One must be patient with Allah's decree and destiny and avoid despair, for all that Allah decrees for a believer is good for him. Calamities may be a path to attaining a great status with Allah. Despair does not remove the affliction and deprives one of the reward for patience. One must have a good opinion of Allah and not despair of His mercy. Maintaining prayer, reciting the Quran, seeking forgiveness, abandoning sins, and keeping good company are all matters that bring tranquility and goodness.
