What is the ruling of Islamic law on a wife going to the marital home before the wedding to kiss and embrace her husband, for fear of falling into the forbidden or losing favor in his eyes?

If a man contracts a valid marriage with a woman, she becomes his wife, and it becomes permissible for him to consort with her. However, custom dictates waiting until she is brought to him as a bride, and this custom should be respected. It is permissible for the wife to refuse to surrender herself until her mahr (dowry) is paid to her. Therefore, we advise you not to allow your husband to be alone with you if you fear a negative consequence for yourself or your family from such an act.
