It is impermissible to use technology to create Quranic recitations that contain errors in the pronunciation of letters. The Quran must be protected from such things. Merely pointing out errors is not enough, and opening this door will lead to the proliferation of distorted recitations. There are complete recordings of the Quran by skilled reciters that suffice. A Muslim must be cautious not to embolden themselves in disrespecting the sanctity of the Book of Allah. Just as the Ummah is obligated to understand the meanings and establish the boundaries, it is also obligated to correct the words and letters according to the manner received from the imams of recitation whose chain of transmission reaches the prophetic presence. Whoever is able to correct the words of Allah yet deviates to corrupted pronunciation is negligent, sinful, and deceitful.
