What is the ruling on placing a cardboard box containing the Gregorian calendar, Quranic verses, and religious occasions on desks, and then putting luggage and food on it?

Every written word should be respected, and this is especially true if it is written in Arabic letters. Therefore, one should not spread out or disrespect anything upon which words are written.
