Isn't residing in the grave and its compression of the body, and the resurrection, the splitting of the sky, the quaking of the earth, the gathering, the terrors, and passing over the bridge of Hell a torment, despite the right of servants upon Allah that He should not torment whoever does not associate partners with Him, as stated in the Hadith Qudsi: "Indeed, the right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and not associate anything with Him, and the right of servants upon Allah is that He should not torment whoever does not associate partners with Him"?

Allah wrongs no one; rather, He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy, and His mercy will manifest most profoundly on the Day of Resurrection. He possesses one hundred mercies, of which He sent down only one to this world, reserving ninety-nine to show mercy to His servants on the Day of Resurrection. The happiest people to experience this mercy on the Day of Resurrection will be the pious believers. Whoever worships Allah well in this world will find nothing but joy in the grave and amidst the terrors of the Day of Resurrection. There is a vast difference between believers and disbelievers on the Day of Resurrection, for each will receive what befits their state. Believers will have no fear, nor will they grieve; angels will surround them and give them glad tidings of Paradise. As for the criminals and disbelievers, their faces will darken, and they will be driven to Hell. The questioner should strive for piety and righteousness to be among these believers, for whom there is good tidings in this world and the Hereafter. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve. Rather, their graves will be expanded for them, and they will enjoy all kinds of blessings. The righteous will be gathered to the Most Gracious as honored guests, while the criminals will be driven to Hell, thirsty. The people of Paradise will not be distressed by the Great Terror on the Day of Resurrection; instead, angels will meet them with glad tidings.
