Is watching cartoon movies permissible, and if not, how can one advise his fiancée who likes to watch them?

If the movies contain unlawful elements or concepts that contradict Islam, such as promoting non-Muslim beliefs, ridiculing religion, or advocating for the unlawful, then watching them is forbidden due to the immense harms they contain. The girl should be advised and exhorted to abandon them, and the resulting harms should be explained to her. She should also be guided to permissible means of occupying her free time.

However, if the movies are free from these corruptions and contain lawful benefits, scholars have differed regarding the ruling on watching them. The preponderant opinion is that they are permissible, and there is no harm in watching them if they are free from corruptions.

It must be noted that the fiancée is a non-mahram, and private seclusion with her is not permissible. Communication with her should be limited to what is necessary and beneficial, conducted with seriousness and modesty.
