What is the competent authority to which a husband can resort to reclaim his wife who refuses to return to the marital home without a reason, knowing that she is pregnant and at her family's house, who refuse to communicate with him, and that he wishes to see his son, and he wants a legitimate solution that guarantees the rights of both parties, and is there something called "house of obedience" in this case?
Spouses should treat each other with kindness and each fulfill their duties, for Allah Almighty says: "And due to them is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable." The husband is not required to express his love verbally; it can be through actions. The wife should thank her husband for his advice, and the husband should satisfy his wife's emotional needs.
One should not hasten to divorce, especially when there are children. Instead, two arbitrators should be sent from their families to reconcile them, for Allah Almighty says: "And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause success between them." If reconciliation is not possible, the matter should be referred to the Sharia court to compel the wife to obey her husband or to consider divorce or khul'. Neither spouse is permitted to prevent the other from seeing their children.
