Must I make up the days I missed in Ramadan due to surgery, or is it permissible to offer a Fidyah for them, and if Fidyah is permissible, what is its amount in Qatar?

If a person is unable to fast an obligatory fast due to a temporary illness, he must make up for it when he recovers and is able to, according to the Almighty’s saying: "And whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days." However, if the illness is incurable and he is unable to fast because of it, the fasting obligation is waived for him, and he must feed a poor person for each day.
