Is it more befitting for my friend to stay in the home with a girl who does not pray and listens to music, so she can invite her to prayer and to abandon these actions, or must she leave the home and search for another?

Prayer is the greatest pillar of Islam after the two declarations of faith (Shahadatayn), and abandoning it carries a great danger. A group of scholars have held the view that whoever abandons it is a disbeliever. This is supported by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Between a man and disbelief and polytheism is the abandonment of prayer," and his saying: "The covenant between us and them is prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved." As for listening to music, it is forbidden.

The girl must repent to Allah, perform prayers, and stop listening to music. Her friend should advise her, and if she does not respond, it is preferable to stop living with her, except in cases of urgent necessity where no other accommodation can be found, while resolving to separate from her as soon as possible and continuing to offer advice.
