What should a woman do who got married before Ramadan and experienced a discharge due to foreplay without penetration in three consecutive Ramadans, and did not make up those days, and she paid a sum of money for expiation but forgot the amount and the total number of days? And should she offer expiation again if she fasts before the next Ramadan, or does she only need to make up the days?

If you deliberately engaged in foreplay until ejaculation, knowing that this is one of the things that invalidate the fast, you have committed a great sin. You must sincerely repent and make up all the days you broke your fast, without needing expiation for intercourse.

You are also required to pay a fidyah (definition) (expiation) of feeding one poor person for each day you delayed making up until the next Ramadan (definition) began. This fidyah does not multiply with the repetition of years. It must be given as food, and its monetary value is not sufficient according to the preponderant opinion, unless the monetary value is more beneficial for the poor.

If you do not know the exact number of days, strive to determine what will give you certainty or strong presumption that you have fulfilled your obligation. Any money you previously spent does not count as fidyah; it will be considered charity. If you make up the days before the next Ramadan with the intention of making up what you missed, then you are not required to pay the fidyah for the delay.

However, if you were ignorant that this action invalidates the fast, then you are not required to make up the fast or pay the fidyah.
