From where do the people of Qatar assume ihram if their journey is from Doha to Jeddah Airport, and is it permissible to assume ihram from home with the intention of Umrah and to make the talbiyah when parallel to the miqat by plane, then to wear the ihram at Jeddah Airport?

The people of Qatar perform ihram for Umrah from the miqat of the people of Najd, "Qarn al-Manazil" (Al-Sail Al-Kabeer). As for those traveling by plane, they perform ihram when the plane is parallel to the miqat it passes over. It is permissible to purify oneself and prepare for ihram from home, and ihram is the intention to enter the ritual. It is not permissible to delay removing sewn garments for the muhrim on the plane until Jeddah; rather, they should be removed when performing ihram on the plane or before boarding it.
