Do bad deeds multiply in Ramadan just as good deeds do, and is there any evidence for that?

Good deeds and bad deeds are multiplied in blessed times and places. The multiplication of good deeds differs from that of bad deeds; a good deed is multiplied in quantity and quality, meaning in number and reward, while a bad deed is multiplied in quality only, meaning its sin is greater and its punishment more severe, but it is not multiplied in number, so a bad deed counts as one bad deed. Scholars have inferred this from His (Allah's) saying: "Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times its like, and whoever comes with a bad deed will not be recompensed except with its like; and they will not be wronged" (Al-An'am: 160), and His saying: "And whoever intends therein to commit a deviation [from righteousness] or wrong, We will make him taste of a painful punishment" (Al-Hajj: 25).
