How can factories increase egg production with modern technology, knowing that there is no creator but Allah, Glory be to Him, and how can the contradiction between this and this truth of faith be resolved?

Allah alone is the Creator, the Creator of causes, and His will is independent in its effect. As for a cause, it does not independently exert an effect except with the presence of other causes, and the absence of impediments, all by the will of Allah. Ibn Taymiyyah says: "The monotheists do not believe that anyone other than Allah independently performs anything. Rather, its utmost is to be a cause, and the effect does not occur except through it, and through other causes, and by theifting of impediments. Allah the Almighty is the One who creates by the influence of causes, and by repelling impediments, along with His creation of this cause as well. But the point is that there is nothing in existence that independently brings about anything, nor is there anything that necessitates every effect except the will of Allah alone. So, what He wills, is, and what He does not will, is not." He adds that everything other than Allah is poor and dependent on Him, and it does not come into existence or remain except by His will, and that the causes Allah has created do not independently exert an effect but require other causes, assistance, and the repulsion of impediments. Ibn al-Qayyim says: "There is not a single possible cause in existence that is independent in its effect. Rather, no cause at all exerts an effect except by the conjunction of another cause with it, and the absence of an impediment that prevents its effect." Therefore, humanity's exertion of causes does not contradict the fact that Allah is unique in creation and bringing into existence, and that causes do not exert an effect except by His will.
