Is it permissible to use magic to achieve well-intentioned goals, such as convincing parents of a particular marriage?

Magic is from the knowledge and actions of devils. Allah Almighty mentioned it in the Holy Quran, threatened its doer with loss, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it and considered it among the seven destructive sins. Therefore, it is not permissible to use magic for any purpose, as it is false and a path to evil. Needs should be sought through legitimate means.
