What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a husband who expelled his wife from her home, refused to financially support his daughter, and denied her legitimacy; and is the wife entitled to seek divorce in this situation?

The husband must provide independent housing for his wife. Depriving a wife of her children is an injustice, for she has the right to their custody until they reach the age of seven. A daughter born during the marriage is legally attributed to the husband, and her maintenance is obligatory upon him.
