Is it permissible to participate in online clinics and present medical cases there?

There is no objection to a patient presenting their medical condition to a doctor electronically or via phone, and there is no objection to the doctor providing treatment and medical advice through these means, due to the benefit therein for Muslims. Both parties must observe propriety when discussing sexually transmitted diseases, and this is especially emphasized if the conversation is between individuals of different genders.
