Does a monthly donation of 20 Riyals to orphanages, while not working and only relying on personal allowance, count as sponsoring an orphan?

Sponsoring an orphan is one of the greatest acts of devotion and best forms of worship. Whoever donates to orphanages an amount sufficient to sponsor an orphan is considered their sponsor, and she will receive the reward of the orphan's sponsor, about whom the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I and the sponsor of an orphan will be in Paradise like this," and he gestured with his index and middle fingers. If her donation is not sufficient to sponsor an orphan, she is considered a participant in their sponsorship, and she will receive reward and recompense accordingly, because whoever participates in an act of obedience shares in its reward.
