Should the wife continue attempting to conceive through medical procedures, despite the abuse from her husband and his mother, and his threat of divorce if she fails, or should she seek separation from him?

It is advisable to seek understanding with the husband or involve wise individuals to remind him of the obligation to treat his wife kindly (al-mu'asharah bil-ma'ruf), provide a separate dwelling, and avoid harm. If he improves his treatment of you, then praise Allah and be a good companion to him. However, if the abuse continues, it is not advisable to spend money on having children, and divorce might be better. It is recommended to fear Allah, seek His help, perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance), and engage frequently in remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and supplication (du'a).
